Facebook Developers Garage

- Time: 11:00 - 14:00
- Room: 1.1
In this Developers session, Daniel Torvisco and Colm Doyle, Facebook engineers, will talk about these topics:
11:00 – 12:00: Open Graph: Developing, Distribution and Optimization
Facebook's core is the social graph; people and the connections they have everything they care about. Historically, Facebook has managed this graph and has expanded it over time as we launch new products (photos, places, etc.). In 2010, we extended the social graph, via the Open Graph protocol, to include 3rd party web sites and pages that people liked throughout the web. We are now extending the Open Graph to include arbitrary actions and objects created by 3rd party apps and enabling these apps to integrate deeply into the Facebook experience. How to build your first Open Graph App.
12:00 – 13:00: Mobile Platform
Over 350 million users access Facebook from a mobile device every month. Facebook Platform lets you bring these users and their friends to your mobile apps, creating a more engaging and personalized experience for your users. We are extending Facebook Platform on mobile, bringing all the social channels that have helped apps and games reach hundreds of millions of users on the Web to mobile apps and websites. HTML 5
