Since my start at Telefónica Moviles in 1999 as Telecommunication engineer I have been involved in mobile service development in a variety of aspects: special projects for large accounts, services for the residential market, and international projects in collaboration with both mobile operators and financial institutions and as a Telefonica representative at standardization fora. First as project manager and, from 2006 onwards, as a programme manager coordinating a team of about ten project leaders.
I have contributed to almost all initiatives around mobile payments in the Spanish market during last decade: Mobipay, Simpay, payment for premium content (SMS premium, Pagos Movistar), NFC pilots ( Mobile Shopping Sitges, Distrito NFC, MWC, etc), and in the introduction of new technologies to improve mobile e-commerce user experience (2D barcode recognition - Bidis).
