José Luis Acha is licensed in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. In 1989 he began his career in the area of new technologies within the field of professional electronics and new developments for the emerging markets of transport control and electronic commerce.

Later and more than 20 years ago he delved into the audiovisual sector working for the two film labs in Spain, Madrid Film Lab and Fotofilm Deluxe so his experience in the audiovisual post-production and the change from analogue to digital is extensive. He is also manager during several years of AITE (Spanish Association of Audiovisual Technical Industries).

Finally, and currently he is the Sales Manager for Spain at SGO, a company dedicated to developing software tools for audiovisual. Mistika, SGO's flagship product, is considered the best stereoscopic postproduction tool on the market nowadays.
