José Manuel Gómez Bravo is composer and lawyer specialized in Intellectual Property Rights. He joined PRISA as Director of New Editions (Nuesa). Later on, he was named Director of Legal Services of the Musical Editions of Gran Via and after that he assumed plain responsibility as Intellectual Property Director in PRISA.

Besides that José Manuel Gómez Bravo is nowadays Director of the Euro-american Professorship of Intellectual Property, created in 2008 by the International Political Sciences Institute, and the UNESCO Professorship of Political Sciences and Comparative Administration. He is honorific collaborator of the International Menendes y Pelayo University (UIMP), President of the Social council of the International Institute of Political Sciences, consultant member of the Social and Economic Council of the UN, Vice-president of the Southern Culture Institute Foundation (ICS) and Director of the Iberoamerican Magazine of Civil Rights and Freedom, edited by Universia.

Prior to that he has been Co-director of the Master of Intellectual Property in the Carlos III University of Madrid and President of the National Association of Audiovisual Editors (ANEA) and Vice-president and coordinator of the Spanish Anti- piracy Table.
