Telecommunication engineer by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ETSIM) in 1995 and MBA by Instituto de Empresa de Madrid in 1998. Since 2009 Manager Director of CENATIC, Spanish National Competency Centre for Open Source Applications. In the last ten years of professional career, Mr. Jaque has been working in Open Source Software as CEO of Ilke Benson. Previously he had been in charge of the commercial activities in Spain of international software companies (Centura Software Corporation, Mercury Interactive) and had worked as Project Manager at CENIM, National Centre for Metallurgic Investigation.

He is also homologated professor and consultant for EOI (Escuela de Organización Industrial) in information technologies and presides AEXIT, Association of Telecommunication Engineers in Extremadura. Miguel has written two technical manuals about GNU/Linux operative system and Apache Web Server and several articles about MySQL database server, software methodologies and economical aspects of software development.
