Tomasz Matuszczyk is the Director of Engineering for Tuenti’s Barcelona office. Tuenti is Spain’s most important website, with 12 million users, 40 billion page views per month, and one of the highest levels of engagement in the sector (averaging more than 100 minutes a day).

Born in Sweden, the Internet has been one of Tomasz’s passions since he was a child. He created his first website in 1996, at just 11 years old, and has since been creating, maintaining, and managing teams for a variety of online projects.

In 2006, during his post-graduate studies, he and colleague Anders Fredriksson founded TableFinder AB.com. Tomasz worked as Product Manager on the project, which won at SeedCamp in 2007.

Tomasz joined Tuenti in 2008, where he has developed his career through various roles within the company, including Tech Lead for Mobile Products, Engineering Manager for Local Products, and Frontend Engineering, later moving to Barcelona to work as Engineering Manager & Product Manager for Tuenti's B2B Services.
