Unai Extremo Baigorri is Founder and CEO of Virtualware. He is also Co-Director of the Fun & Serious Game Festival, Vice-president of Basquegame (the Videogame Basque Association, and he is member of the directive board of the Cluster Gaia (Electronic Technology Industry and Information Association in the Basque Country ). Unai has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Deusto, and he is a specialized in multimedia and gaming technology, having a Master in Virtual Reality Technology (College of Engineering, Deusto).

His professional career has been always linked to field of Virtual Reality and Multimedia field, having developed several applications. He has leaded development teams since 2004 and he has created and directed the strategic development of the technological company Virtualware. He has participated at numerous conferences and seminars focused on virtual reality uses and serious games: CEDI (Zaragoza, 2007), FICOD (Madrid, 2009), CeBIT (Hannover, 2010), Madrid Game Conference (Madrid,2011).
