The presentation "Wrinkles, from the comic book to the big screen" will show the film adaptation process of a comic book like Wrinkles that has sold more than 35,000 copies in Spain and that in 2012 will hit the cinemas. Exclusive materials will be displayed to show how Wrinkles maintains high fidelity in narrative and style but adapting it to the cinema world and directed by Ignacio Ferreras.
Wrinkles is a 2D animation feature film for adult audiences based on the acclaimed comic of Paco Roca (National Comic Award 2008 and sold in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan and Finland). The film narrates the friendship between Emilio and Miguel, two old men confined in a geriatric hospital, and was presented in the last edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival to great reviews. It has been praised by THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER as “one of the most accomplished Spanish films of the last years, in any genre”
