Augmented Reality is having success applied to games and tourism, marketing or advertising applications. This technology is also being used in simulators, architecture or industrial processes and is expected in a short period of time applicable to critical areas like surgery or emergency services. This workshop will address in a practical and demostrative way how this technology works and what are they possibilities and limitations. The workshop will cycle through the devices that enable augmented reality from its origins to the near future. Will be augmented reality our new way of interacting with the world?
