FICOD

A real Cloud GIS SaaS experience of open government to share the inventory of trees and Parks with citizens, which contributes to build Information Society and improve public urban services: New digital contents that contribute to environmental education of society; web 2.0 tools to encourage citizens participation in parks and trees care (upload photos, suggestions, etc.); optimizing and modernizing this traditional sector using ICT by public and private professionals; and improving the management of data to provide knowledge that will lead to continuous improvement in this sector. This ICT experience will demonstrate that local governments can take advantage of the use of cloud applications, optimizing their service and investment in IT infrastructure and providing a better service to citizens, as well as streamlining and modernizing the urban maintenance sector.
