Glasses-free 3D: production, visualization and interaction

Mirage presents in this workshop an overview of the production processes for glasses-free (autostereoscopic) 3D content, either by using computer generated images or by converting stereo material into autostereoscopic content. The evolution of autostereoscopic visualization technology, mainly focused on advertising and entertainment, will be discussed, as well as the recent introduction of mechanisms to interact with 3D environments by using cameras capturing both image and depth. The presentation will be supported by practical demonstrations of the technologies described.
